Tank pressure and vacuum relief valve Operating principles
● Tank pressure and vacuum relief valve is closed normally
● When pressure in tank exceeds rated pressure outside the valve, the valve will open to vent air from tank to outside in order to keep pressure in the tank and outside balanced
● When the tank is vacuum, vacuum piston in the valve will open to draw air into tank in order to keep pressure in the tank and outside balanced
